Formerly known as Plates Up Catering, Inc., Poppin Plates was birthed into the new millennium after the founder graduated from Chicago’s world-famous Washburne Culinary & Hospitality Institute in the year 2000. The name change came about as the former catering company evolved into a culinary incubator.
Now, nestled in the heart of Park Forest, IL, Poppin Plates culinary incubator provides support and services to other emerging local food service entrepreneurs. Additionally, after many requests, Poppin Plates has jumped back into the catering industry.
With over twenty years of restaurant and catering experience, we have had the pleasure to serve presidential candidates, the All-Stars of the National Basketball Association, local and international recording artists, and several corporate and social organizational clients.
