Poppin Plates Culinary Incubator provides a licensed commercial shared kitchen to local food-based businesses in the Chicagoland area. A commercial kitchen is essential to establishing and growing a legal food service business. Our incubator is for serious entrepreneurs that are committed to taking their business to the next level.

 

Membership

We offer both monthly membership rates and hourly rates to fit your growing business.  The kitchen is available 7 days a week 6 am-9 pm.
 

Ala Carte Rates

$30/hr- Catering Kitchen Rental

$20/hr- Prep Table Space

$20/weekly- Cooler/Freezer/Dry Storage

6-Hour Min. A la Carte Rental ($500 Start Up Cost Required)

Getting Started

Prior to signing on to become a member of the Incubator, there are a few items you must obtain:

  • Valid Food Service Manager Certificate

  • Valid State of Illinois Business License

  • EIN Number

  • Illinois Sales Tax Number

  • Proof of Liability Insurance (minimum coverage of $1 Million) with Poppin Plates LLC as an additional insured

  • Signed Operating Agreement with Poppin Plates
